We are a family of five (and a dog) who live in Warsaw. We have never had any ties with Masuria - we did not go there on vacation as children, we did not sail on the lakes or go on fishing adventures. Until one Saturday in early September 2008, when Marcin, after reviewing online real estate sales offers, came to Mącze and saw a house where no one has lived for over two decades. A laying hen with chickens lived in the current raspberry bedroom, and a flock of pigeons in the orange one. In the yard, nettles and other weeds reached up to his armpits. But that was the one! After months of straightening legalities of the historical past, the farm became ours and thanks to two gentlemen both called Mirosław we were able to restore it (practically remotely). We have renovated the house while taking care of every detail, putting a lot of heart and effort into the renovation, and today everyone feels at home there. From Mącze you come back well rested and full of energy, and each season of the year has its amazing charm there.

Nowadays, it is our little place on earth, where we can pursue dreams hidden for years, such as beekeeping or the cultivation of perennials. Maybe we are still doing it ineptly but we definitely want to share the charm of this place with others.
